I do not like the idea of MUSK and DOGE having anything to do with SS. I do not trust him and I certainly cannot believe anything Trump says or does. Trump has lied too many times and cannot be trusted.

I’m sorry but at this point in time with the number of very unqualified appointments by Trump. Everyone appointed by him is suspect. Time will tell, but I’m not optimistic.

That’s all fine yet with the 2017 tax cuts sundowning this year of 2025, let’s hope Congress and musk don’t look to fund those renewed tax breaks by cutting Social Security or Medicare or Medicaid. Sadly, don’t hold your breath bc that is exactly what they are going to do…mark my words fellow Americans, We the People will-as usual- be the ones that keeps the Musks’ Bezos’ and Zuckerburgs’ of this world wealthier and wealthier. Meanwhile the rest of us are still waiting for egg prices to drop..it is absurdity at its peak…

Anyone appointed by Trump is suspect of being like him which is very distressful. Anyone who says DOGE is useful, important or doing a good job is also highly suspect as the media is replete with criticism of DOGE and Musk. Trump’s goal is to cut SS benefits so that he can cut taxes for the most wealthy. Do not be deceived by any nice words from a new leader. Trump and his appointees do not care about you. Democrats care about you, they just need to show it better.

Please take note dear tech bros, my Social Security benefits are not negotiable, nor are they a security net handout. This money is the result of money I earned during my working years and which was invested by the government on my behalf. It provides me a small but reliable income, thank God. Just so I can be really clear here, without it I’m dead. You reduce it any amount at all and I will be forced to decide between medicine and food. I currently break even. Your efforts to save a dollar to give the big money (Elon) a tax break have real world effects. You may know the cost of everything but the value of nothing. Leave me alone.

Whate ever happen to this so called Stimulus package that Senior’s were supposed to be getting today??????????? I think another scam, to give all of our S/S to Illegal Aliens, and, put Americans last as usual. There are no honest people in the Federal Government, including the Congress, and the Senate Rebublicans, or demorats. ALL CORRUPT.

The GOP fired all those federal workers, so they can extend the $4.5 trillion tax cut for the rich. It is out of the private corporate playbook.

They want to make spending cuts everywhere to pay for the tax cuts to the rich.

I don’t mind because it doesn’t affect me.
Medicaid is next on the chopping block.

We need to make cuts to Social Security, Veterans Affairs, Medicare, Medicaid, and SSI, so the rich can get their $4.5 trillion tax cut.

You see how fast DOGE is moving and gaining access to all federal agency payment information before the $4.5 trillion tax cut to the rich is set to expire. All the federal agencies budgets and entitlement programs will be cut to pay for the $4.5 trillion tax cut to the rich.

Whole lot of people are cheering on the cuts…until it personally impacts them.

The prez is already going back on his promise not to cut Medicaid as he is now in favor of proposed house cuts.
