The acting commissioner’s statement sounds reassuring. But the actions of the acting president and his minions undermine that reassurance. There is no reason to believe that the current Justice department will protect us.

Can we believe comments by Dudek if Elon and Trump appointed him?

I wish you would update the Soc Sec website Fairness Act status more often, like maybe once a week. The site’s last update was 3 February. Has any more progress been made? Also, the phrase ‘. . . SSA is finalizing its plan to implement the Act . . .’ sounds too much like typical bureaucratic jargon.

The Acting Commissioner is one thing and his statement was appreciated. We’ll see what happens when a new commissioner is in. I will trust what I see.

All we can hope for is that the new commissioner will do his job and follow court orders and not allow Mush’s teenagers to make any changes to our Social Security System.

I do not agree with DOGE having read access to my record. Only SSA personnel should know my address, bank account info etc. I have signed nothing to DOGE to access my record and this is a violation of my privacy

I do not trust that anything you are doing is transparent. The DOGE (doggy) people should not have access to SSA files. What does “read only” mean to these people–how can they remove fraud if their access is “read only” so that is obviously a lie. We need more officers (not fewer) to weed out fraud and that means not firing federal workers under the guise of removing waste. I fear for my country.

Please work to review and distribute the Windfall penalty payments that continue to be withheld from some three million government employees. Even if you are unable at this point in time payout the back pay according to the law,at least pay the amount deducted by the Windfall. I am a single person. SS knew exactly how much to deduct as soon I applied three years ago. It shouldn’t be too hard to figure out what my monthly increase should be. Thank you.

Help, my paperwork has been submitted but I want to withdraw it and meet with a person at an office with my wife to file.

I’ve called, waited, left messages, and been promised a supervisor contact…but none has ever occurred.

How do I talk to a person, and get help?

What about those of us who have been waiting for 2 years to be approved for what we paid in and I had neck and back surgery and 11 surgeries on my hands and still got to have another surgery but yet I can’t get my disability. This is bullcrap
