The Department of Justice is meaning less and less these days. Get Musk out of our records!

The hold time on the telephone needs to be shorter. The hold time is now over 2 hours. This is extremely frustrating.

Hi, Maryann. Thank you for reading our blog. We apologize for the call wait times you’ve experienced and understand how frustrating that can be. We are working to improve our wait times and appreciate your patience. If you still need to contact us, wait times to speak to a representative are typically shorter in the morning, later in the week, and later in the month. In the meantime, please complete our Feedback Form, which will give our team a better understanding of how we can improve our processes. We value your opinion and look forward to hearing from you.

Acting commissioner Dudek, you set a very low bar for DOGE:
They can’t make changes to my social security account (yet).
    They can’t access court data.
When they don’t follow the law you will ‘refer’ them to DOJ and the DOJ will do nothing.

I’m disappointed that you think DOGE is helping SSA.
Having OIG and the Government Accountability Office look over your shoulder won’t help because Mr. Trump is filling all government offices with partisan cronies.
Doge should not have any access to Social Security records.

Lee Dudek’s (“acting” director) comments are laudible. I’m worried about Frank Bisignano’s (“future” director appointee) actions/comments going forward if he’s appointed… will “mayhem” now follow ? Is Musk/Trump planning on offsetting the savings they find to finance their Mars shot folly?

The OIG has oversight? Didn’t Trump fire a bunch of the OIGs already?

If the DOGE employees step out of line they will be referred to the DOJ? The DOJ run by Pam Bondi? The same Pam Bondi that took a $25,000 bribe from Trump to make cases go away in Florida and is in his pocket to do his bidding? Guaranteed if any DOGE member is referred to DOJ, it isn’t going anywhere.

Just words on a page meant to make people complacent. Don’t listen to the lies. They are coming for your social security.

I don’t trust Musk, Doge and Trump. They need to stay out of SS business. Trump has lied too many times to be trusted and Musk has no right or authority to meddle in government affairs. Just because he bought Trump, doesn’t give him full rein with the business and affairs of the American people. Neither can be trusted. They’re looking out for themselves and not us.

Those are nice words. The problem is that so far DOGE has hurt it’s own credibility in its use of terms like fraud. Then taking little responsibility for mistakes. It appears to be a wrecking ball rather than helping optimize processes. As an IT Manager I hear that systems are built on top of each other and I know what a house of cards such infrastructures can become.

I’m glad we finally got a commissioner for SSA and I hope I can finally get though my concerns . I’m a retired truck driver on widower survivor benefits after my wife died 3 years ago leaving me to care for our two special needs grandchildren. Their mother was given custody of her kids last March so I went back to work to only have to quit working that July because of the limit of income of only $22,321 counting my $8400 SSA check. I am at my limit on vision requirements for my CDL driver license any less I’ll be disqualified to drive a truck so having my SSA check will help me until 2027 when I’ll be able to get my full benefits of my SSA retirement. I would work more if they would raise the limit to a reasonable amount with the cost of living $700 a month just don’t go far enough. 40K or more would be better than $22,321 I’m on food stamps as well $163 is all I can get that doesn’t even last a week worth of food . I hope Lee Dudek reads this or someone that talks to him our trump it’s really a problem with our bad economy and I have faith trump will fix it but I know that isn’t going to happen overnight so hopefully I can get though here I’m not lazy I want to work but I can’t afford to loose my benefits Incase I lose more vision someone please help me get this though to Lee Dudek or trump thank you
